Wisconsin FamilyTrip

Hi my name is Sara. I lived in Wisconsin until I was 11. I want to have a little show and tell about my old hometown state Wisconsin. First off, this is the church I went to in Wisconsin when I was a little girl. I was so happy to re-visit my old church as one may see by the big smile on my face.

Lets really start, we first packed our bags and flew to Wisconsin. Miles loved his first time flying. He was sad he did not get his peanuts and Ginger ale. Eric was jealous because he had a lot of leg room.

You see my sisters and I grew up here and learned many girlie lessons like putting make up on our faces. We played with our American Girl dolls and played dress up. On our latest trip one may tell things have not changed. My husband Eric thought I looked really great with all this lipstick. Dan and Robert missed out on a wonderful time with the make up. Amanda would have been in this picture too, but she flew in too late.

Sweaty Liam and Miles were sweaty from their flight, so we took them for a dip. Angela did not want Liam to see other babies bathing. It is not good at such a young age.

Here are the babies after their eyes wondered.

They sure did clean up well and are happy now. Theresa looks great too! Doesn't she? One hot momma!

We came out here to hang out with the family and introduce Eric to them. It was so much fun to eat all the fried chicken we wanted and then have as much fried chicken the next day. Thanks for all the chicken mom.

Here is my Mom, Liam and Baby Doll Gary celebrating like it is 1999.

Tim and Theresa were doing the same thing, but standing.

Here are all the kids playing on the ground. I wonder if they will invite Eden to sit with them.

Here I am visiting my favorite place on earth, Wrigley Field. I sure hope they don't change the name. Eric and I found tickets to a sold out game for only $15.

Here are our seats, they were right off of the first base line. We had a perfect view of a hot dog stand, people walking in front of us, and a big pole used to hold up the upper deck. We had to stay behind a yellow line. We must have accidentally tripped 20 people walking by us. It was great entertainment.

This is a picture of our view from our seats. We knew where all the men went. We had a mega phone and yelled at all the men who forgot to wash their hands.

We only lasted 2 innings in these seats and found some better ones up here. We only had to move once because we were in other people's seats.

Eric is so excited to come back to Wrigley Field. He loved singing, "Take me out to the Ballgame," and "Go Cubs Go." He is anxious to go back to the "Friendly confines of Wrigley Field."

Afterwards, we went to the place where deep dish pizza was allegedly born. We placed our order and went to Bloomingdales to look at fancy China. We even went to the bathroom there and I heard them call our names from Uno's Pizza to tell us our pizza was ready.

I am so glad I heard them call our name, or I may have never eaten the most delicious pizza I ever ate today. Look at how deep it is.

This kid was so amazed he kept looking through the window at us to see how amazing it really was. He was so cute.

This is our trip to Wisconsin in a lot of pictures. I hope you all liked them.

Welcome back Tyreek

Tyreek is back and ready to party. We are so excited to have him visit! He hopes they play Plinko on the Price's Right on his birthday this year.

Mud Monkeys

Sara is gone and she told me I could put some post up on this blog of ours, so here I am trying really hard to get it looking well. She sends her love from Wisconsin.

This is a picture of Mud Volleyball at South Ogden Days. Hershey sponsored this event and filled up the volleyball pit with dark, semi-sweet, milky, mud. MMM..... We could not fit it in our pockets, so we took a dip. Fondue anyone? We tell people it was chocolate because some people have never played in the mud and they may not understand how fun it is!

Here is the whole clan playing with us. Brooke, Ryan, Brindy, Kim, Sara-the beautiful babe in the yellow, and Eric. Brooke served this whole game and we won seven to zero.
Here is a guessing game..Which one of these two kids below have played in mud?

Answer: Grandma. Next year we will let Brielle be a cheerleader and then we will have a team meeting to see if we can let her on the squad.

Here is team Mud Monkeys after a game. We would try to wash off as much mud as we could after each game. Towards the end we gave up on trying to be clean and we stayed in our Mud Monkey mode.

After all these months of marriage Sara still loves me. Even if I forget to wash up. Woman do love chocolate. Oh wait...it says, "I love Sara." After all theses 5 months of marriage I still love her! Men love chocolate too!

Stay tuned for the sign up sheet to be involved in next years chocolate dip. Some people do the polar Bear Plunge, we do the Grizzly Bear Plunge. We may need two teams from the response we are getting. We do need more Fans!

Special thanks to Dad the photographer. Next year he may get to be in one of the pictures.

Cancun

Eric and I went on our honeymoon at the end of May to Cancun. It was kind of a delayed honeymoon due to school, but we ended up graduating and so we went to Cancun to celebrate both our graduation and our marriage. So.. here are some of our pictures from Mexico!

We ate breakfast here the first day in Mexico... Not gonna lie Mexican breakfast..eee. I could do better. But, the resort was beautiful.. and next is a picture of the view from where we ate..

SO PRETTY!! we both love the ocean!

Don't worry, we did find some awesome food there... it just took some searching

Eric and I did some shopping while we were there, we didn't really buy a lot, BUT we did find some awesome things... exhibit A:
I believe there are no words to describe how awesome THIS is! I also found something awesome..I know... it's not as good as the mask but I thought this shirt was SO cool! All the color is wax.. somehow.

We went to Chichinitza which was really awesome. There is so much history and mystery there! I loved it, the Mayan people were really smart.. they are the first society to come up with the concept of the number zero. PRETTY COOL! Oh and they gave us a great souvenier on our way out of the park... yep that's our picture on a bottle of Tequila!

Oh and they have these things in Cancun called Cenotes. They are kind of like sink holes. They were really pretty, Eric went diving into one... I'm not as good as a swimmer so I took pictures! If you look really close you can see Eric jumping, he kinda blends in with the vines.

Overall, we had soooo much fun!
